I believe that understanding a dog's behaviour is the first step to helping them. Every dog is unique, and training adapts to their personality, their pace and the reality of the people they live with.
Ian Dunbar is a veterinarian and behaviourist, founded the Association of Professional Dog Trainers and pioneered puppy socialisation classes. He is one of the people who has contributed most to the positive reinforcement training practised today.
